BUDAPEST: The National Bank of Hungary may unveil unconventional monetary easing measures before the end of this year, the business news web site Portfolio said on Thursday citing one unnamed central bank source.

A central bank press official confirmed to Reuters that indeed the bank may engage in such unconventional measures - which have been flagged by the bank several times in recent weeks - already in 2015.

No details were immediately available about the type of measures that can be expected or their precise timing.
