Four killed, one injured in city

KARACHI: Four people were killed and one other injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Saturday.

A man, Ghulam Nabi, 35, son of Eidu Baloch, was gunned down by unknown armed at his shop in Ghulam Shah Lane, Chakewara in Lyari. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Another man, Bakht Ali, 65, son of Jaffer Ali, was killed by armed men in Zarina Colony, Sector 1-A 2 North Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, Manzoor, 45, son of Hanif, was killed when unknown gunmen opened firing in a shop in Singer Chowrangi, Korangi area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for a postmortem.

Atta-ul-Muneeb, 35, son of Attaullah, was shot dead by unknown armed men near a Nullah in Mai Kolachi area. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, a man, Shafiq, 50, son of Ali Muhammad, was injured when he offered resistance to dacoits in a robbery near Lotus Foods in Site area. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
