Ebad for expanding scope of CPLC to other districts in province

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan has called for expanding the scope of the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) to other districts in the province.

Chairing the meeting of the CPLC Board, he stressed that the performance of the organization be made more effective.

On the occasion, the Governor was apprised of the performance of the CPLC during the year 2014-15.

The meeting approved the resignation of Ahmed Chinoy and in his place Zubair Habib was appointed the chief of the CPLC unanimously.

The Governor was of the view that the other provincial governments have also acknowledged the performance of the CPLC.

He asked the chief of the CPLC for the setting up of the offices of the organization in Sukkur, Larkana and other districts in the province.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, also appreciated the performance of the CPLC.
