KARACHI: A traffic policeman was shot dead on Wednesday night by unidentified assailants in Malir area of the metropolis, the police said. According to the IG Sindh office ASI Zulfiqar of traffic police was killed by unknown armed men near Kalaboard, Malir.

The policeman was posted in Model Colony.

The body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The police have started investigation into the incident.
