DG Rangers Sindh calls on Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad

KARACHI: The Director General of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar, called on Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan.

At the meeting held at the Governor House here, the law and order situation in Sindh especially in Karachi was discussed in detail.

It was reiterated that the province of Sindh and the city of Karachi would be cleansed of terrorism.

The Governor said that in the past some months there has been improvement in the law and order situation and that this is being acknowledged by people from all segment of life.

He said that the traders and businessmen have taken advantage of the improved law and order from Ramzan up to the eve of Eid ul Azha. There was brisk business activity as compared to the previous years.

Dr. Ishrat said that every one acknowledges the role of the Rangers for successfully tackling the menace of terrorism.

The DG Rangers said that the people have expressed their confidence in the Rangers and that his organization would come up to their expectations. The recent success is due to the confidence reposed by the people.

He pointed out that many personnel of Rangers have sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism.

It was resolved that no stone would be left unturned for making Karachi peaceful.

Fight against terrorism would continue till cleansing Sindh and Karachi of the menace of terrorism.
