Govt fulfilling pledges made with public: Bosan

MULTAN: Federal Minister for Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Bosan has said the incumbent government will fulfill all its pledges before December 2017, made with the public.

He was addressing a public meeting at Piran Ghaib here on Tuesday. Sikandar Bosan said that electricity and gas loadshedding were major problems faced by the people and hoped that the government would overcome them as sincere efforts were being taken in this regard. He also claimed that PML-N would win 2018 elections.

The political rivals would judge the popularity level of the PML-N in upcoming local government elections. He criticized certain political parties as they remained engaged in staging sit-in protests only and could not deliver masses. Bosan also informed that work on repair of Piran Ghaib road would soon begin at a cost of Rs 30 million.

MPA Shoukat Abbas Chawan, Mirza Naeem, Chaudhary Sarwar Ansari, Allah Yar Bhutti, Saifullah Gujjar and others were also present on the occasion.
