Pakistan to retaliate India, if impose war: Asif

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Monday said that Pakistan will retaliate forcefully to India if it impose war.

Talking to a news channel, he said India do not want to see stable, prosperous and economic growth in Pakistan, adding that India is habitual to level baseless allegation against us.

He said that Armed forces would defend every inch of their motherland at every cost. He said India's real face is exposing as it is supporting terrorism in Pakistan and creating tension on borders through unprovoked firing along the working boundary and line of control.

The minister said Pakistan wants to resolve the issues with India in a peaceful manner to bring peace in the region but Indian attitude is not look serious to overcome the issues including lingering Kashmir dispute.

Replying a question, he said the peace in the whole region is interconnected with peace in Afghanistan.

Khawaja Asif said Pakistan and United States of America (USA) are enjoying cordial relations.

To another query, he said China is playing vital role in resolving Pakistan matters at international level. China had helped us at every forum, he added.

He said economic stability is indispensable for sovereignty.
