Juammatul Wida celebrated with solemnity, fervor

KARACHI: Jammat-ul-Wida, the last friday of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, was celebrated here with religious fervor like in other areas of the country.

Mosques and imambargahs were seen full to their capacity with the faithful who also prayed for the peace, brotherhood and interfaith harmony, and prosperity of the country.

Prayer leaders (Pesh Imam) in their sermons highlighted the importance and blessings of fasting during the holy month of Ramazan.

They emphasized on promoting environment of co-existence where every body can live peaceful and respectful life with full liberty to follow his faith and traditions.

The best possible security arrangements were made by the government at and around mosques and imambargahs in the city to ensure peace and security on this great Islamic day. Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) delivered his last and historic sermon on Jummat-ul-Wida.
