In a condolence message, the chief minister paid tribute to the literary services of the deceased and said Abdullah Hussain was a historic writer and novelist and was an identity of Pakistan at international literary scene.
Shahbaz Sharif said Abdullah Hussain created literature of international standard with unique style and got a high place in literary field. No doubt, in the death of Abdullah Hussain, literary world had been deprived of a writer and novelist of international repute and his vacuum will never be filled, he added.
He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
