Khawaja strongly condemns Karachi incident

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Water, Power and Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday strongly condemned the tragic incident of karachi's firing on innocent citizens.

Talking to a private news channel, he expressed deep grief and sorrow over the lost of precious lives of citizens.

The Minister said that responsible of this incident would not escape from the grip of law and they would face the punishment of this brutality.

He said that restoring peace throughout the country was the top priority of the government and these type of incidents should be stopped at any cost.

Replying to a question. he said that overall situation of Karachi regarding peace now better as compare to past, adding that some elements do not want to see Pakistan as a developed country but they would not succeeded in their nefarious desires.

Khawaja said that unity is the demand of the hour and all political parties were united to eliminate the terrorism across the country.
