ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif Tuesday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Head Altaf Hussain had become habitual of giving controversial statements adding that a Pakistani could not give a statement regarding Indian intelligence agency as given by Altaf Hussain.

Talking to a news channel, he said RAW was an enemy organization formed to act against Pakistan and such a statement should not be given even ironically or in lighter mode.

The minister was of the view that the statement of Altaf Hussain would be examined deliberately to decide about any legal action over it.

He said the government endorsed the recent statement of ISPR as it reflected version of the government and defence ministry over the issue.

Khawaja Asif said India wanted to keep Pakistan engage both internally and externally.

If India was a sympathizer of Pakistan against terrorism then it

should not have created unrest on eastern borders, he said, adding, the purpose behind this unrest was to divert the attention of Pakistan Army from the war against terrorists.

Some so-called freedom leaders of Balochistan also traveled on Indian passport, he underlined.

The minister said Pakistan had raised the issue of Indian agency's involvement in Pakistan on different forums.

Asif said PaK-China Economic Corridor would prove to be a milestone for the progress of the country and that India was upset over this development.
