National award winner and amongst IMDB’s highest scorers (Rating: 8.5/10), Kangana Ranaut, one of Bollywood’s most versatile actresses of all time, who won honour for her performances in Queen and Revolver Rani received praise generally from audiences, critics and the industry alike.

Deepika who recently dedicated her Life OK! Screen Award for Best Actor (Female) - Popular Choice to Kangana and having watched Queen said, "I have seen Queen and I am jealous of Kangana's performance, I think she was outstanding".

Kangana said, “I knew I was getting the award. I chose not to go there. So there is a reason behind it. And I did get genuine compliments from Shah Rukh Khan who called me directly, Salman Khan, Aamir sir called me directly. Amitabh Bachchan called me directly. Priyanka (Chopra) did. Everyone called me. But Deepika never called me directly”, timesofindia reported.

“Though we met a couple of times and she is someone I have highest regards for, I respect her as a contemporary and as an actress. But I have to be honest about things and I can’t be someone else”, she added.

Like Aamir, Kangana too has taken a stand on award functions clearly. Despite boycotting award functions, the industry is still dedicating awards to them.
