Zardari expresses solidarity with Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Former President Asif Ali Zardari Wednesday paid a visit to Saudi ambassador Jasim al khalidi here in Pakistan to express solidarity with the government of Saudi Arabia.

Talking to ambassador, he said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was deeply concerned and stands by Saudi Arabia in the current situation arising out of fighting in Yemen.

He assured him for all out support against any threat to the kingdom's security and integrity.

He said that he welcomed the Saudi announcement to stop aerial bombing in Yemen and to search for an amicable and peaceful solution.

On this occasion, Mr. Zardari was accompanied by Former Prime Ministers Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf and Senator Abdul Rehman Malik.

Ambassador Jasim thanked Zardari for his gesture, said a press release issued here Wednesday.
