RAWALPINDI: An Anti-terrorist Court on Monday acquitted five accused in hate speeches case.

During a hearing in ATC court No 2, Judge, Asif Majeed Awan acquited Maulvi Muhammad Umer, Muhammad Hafaz, Khalil Nawaz, Fakhar Hussain and Ch Arshad Hussain in the case, saying the evidence against them was not sufficient for further proceedings.

The case had been registered against them at police station in Attock and were arrested on charge of delivering hate-speeches and inciting to violence. Meanwhile ATC adjourned the hearing of Raja Bazar firing case till April ,21 as counsel of the accused did not appear.
