Speaking at a press conference here, Chairperson National Assembly Standing Committee on Kashmir affairs, Malik Ibrar announced names of candidates who will take part in the Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantonment boards elections on PML-N tickets.
Malik Sajid Mehmood will contest from ward no 1,Malik Usman from Ward no 2,Muhammad Shafique from ward no 3,Rashhed Khan from ward no 4,Raja Jhandad from ward no 5,Haji Zafar Iqbal from ward no 6,Malik Mansoor from ward no 7,Arshad Qureshi from ward no 8,Hafiz Hussain Ahmed from ward no 9 and Shahid Mughal from ward no 10 in the Rawalpindi cantonment board.
Meanwhile Raja Pervaiz Akhtar, Dilwar Khan,Ch Changaiz Akhtar,Mian Raiz,Haji Khalid, Ch Khurram Sidique,Muhammad Jameel,Ch Khurram Shahzad,Raja Irfan Imtaiz and Malik Azhar Naeem were nominated to contest elections from the ten seats of Chaklala cantonment board.
Ibrar said that the nominees for seats were selected after in-depth discussion with party members.
Senator Chaudary Taveer Khan,Sardar Naseem and a large number of PML-N local leaders were present on the occasion.
