SC seeks CDA reply over construction of Grid Station at F-9 park

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to submit detailed report over construction of a Grid Station at the F-9 Park of the federal capital.

The three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Mian Saqib Nisar comprising Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Mushir Alam heard the petition filed by a citizen Muhammad Anwar Butt against construction of a grid station at the F-9 park.

He stated that the construction of a grid station in the park would be dangerous for environment and hazardous for people's health.

The apex court directed the CDA to submit reply that how can a grid station be constructed in a recreational park and adjourned hearing of the case for three weeks.
