LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the news regarding death of a 5-year-old boy due to transfusion of substandard blood in a government hospital of Hafizabad.

The Chief Minister has sought a report from the Secretary Health in this connection. He ordered an inquiry into the matter and directed that stern action be taken against the persons responsible.
