ANP for early repatriation of IDPs

PESHAWAR: Provincial President of ANP, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti Wednesday said that his party wants the early and respectable repatriation of IDPs who left their homes for the establishment of peace in the motherland.

Addressing a meeting of party office bearers belonging to FATA and Frontier Regions at Baacha Khan Markaz, he said that ANP also witnessed displacement of tribal people in their tenure of government adding we accomplished the task of their repatriation in a way that is still unprecedented.

Ameer Haider Hoti said that both federal and provincial governments should be on the same page on the issues regarding IDPs rather blaming each other for their hardships.

He highlighted the need of implementing National Action Plan for the establishing of lasting peace in FATA.

He also criticized PTI for deceiving the people by raising the slogan of New Pakistan. The same party is guilty of ignoring the mandate that was given to them in last general election.

The meeting also directed to galvanize the party activities in FATA and decided holding of a Jirga of Tribal elders in April 2015 besides formulation of organizing committee for Upper Kohistan.
