MAPUTO: Mozambique's central bank kept its key lending rate unchanged at 7.5 percent on Wednesday, saying the move would help the flood-ravaged country achieve its 2015 economic objectives.

Earlier, Mozambique's government said the economy grew by an estimated 9.6 percent in 2014, higher than an earlier forecast of 7.7 percent. The country is counting the human and economic costs of torrential rains that have killed about 180 people.
