Pakistan's liquid foreign reserves cross US $15 billion

ISLAMABAD: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 15,159.2 million on January 30, 2015.

Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) issued on Friday said that foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 10,358.9 million while the net foreign reserves held by banks were US$ 4,800.3 million on January 30,2015.

During the week ending January 30, 2015, SBP's Liquid foreign exchange reserves increased by US$110 million to US$10,359 million compared to US$10,249 million in the previous week.
