70 Afghan immigrants among 110 suspects netted

HANGU: Police nabbed 110 suspected persons including 70 Afghan immigrants under 14 foreign Act during last one week crackdown in different parts of the district.

According to police, the raids and search operations were conducted at different areas including Chapper, Kata Kanari, Bagto, Lafi Banda, Sarak Dana and Kando village that led to arrest of 110 suspected criminals including 70 afghan immigrants living without valid travelling documents under 14 foreign act.

The arrested outlaws also include five proclaimed offenders wanted to police in various cases of heinous nature cases. District Police Officer Anwar Saeed Kundi said that crackdown against outlaws would continue and security staff on check posts has been alerted.

He appreciated the cooperation of people and elders of the area. Police have registered cases and started investigation.
