New Zealand score 275-4 in fifth ODI

ABU DHABI: New Zealand, who won the toss and batted, made 275-4 in their 50 overs in the fifth and final day-night international against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

With the series on line after being 2-2, Kane Williamson hit 97 with eight boundaries while Ross Taylor made 95-ball 88 not out with five boundaries and a six.

Pakistan won the first and third matches while New Zealand took the second and fourth games.

Pakistan were forced to sit out opener Mohammad Hafeez who had a recurrence of a hamstring injury while struggling paceman Sohail Tanvir was also dropped, making way for Asad Shafiq and Zulfiqar Babar.

New Zealand brought in Nathan McCullum and Anton Devcich for Daniel Vettori and Corey Anderson.
