Reference for Martyrs of Peshawar held at Sindh Secretariat

KARACHI: A condolence meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary, Sajjad Saleem Hotiana, was held on Thursday at Sindh Secretariat for the martyrs of Peshawar.

On the occasion, provincial secretary for education, Dr. Fazllulah Peechuhoo presented a reference and resolution unanimously adopted by the meeting.

Qari Amanullah recited verses from Holy Quran and Qari Abdul Rauf Qadri also made dua asking Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed victims of Peshawar and solace to the bereaved families.

The Sindh Chief Secretary, Sajjad Saleem Hotiana expressed his displeasure about absence of some of the secretaries from the meeting, despite that its time and date was duly notified to them.

He on the occasion directed the Secretary (General Administration) to issue explanation letters to the concerned secretaries and to record the notices in the their personal files.

He also urged the secretaries pertaining to different departments of the provincial government to be punctual and ensure reaching their offices in time.

This, he said was important so that subordinates and junior staff may follow the precedence in accordance to office decorum and in the public interest.

Chief Secretary asked all the secretaries to start compiling a progress report about compliance of his directives, in their respective departments, and submit him the same on every 10th day of each month.

He warned of severe disciplinary action those failing to comply with his directives.
