Muslim envoys observe silence for victims of terrorists attack

ISLAMABAD: Ambassadors of many Muslim countries stood in silence for one minute to express solidarity with victims of Peshawar terrorists attack at a reception hosted by Bahrain's Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad Ebrahim Mohammad Abdulqader at a hotel here late Tuesday.

They prayed for the departed souls on the occasion and expressed condolences with the bereaved families.

Bahrain ambassador hosted the reception to celebrate national day of his country. Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Husain Pirzada was the chief quest on the occasion. He cut the cake along with the envoy and congratulated him on his national day. National anthems of the two brotherly countries were played on the occasion.

The reception was attended among others by diplomats of the Muslim and Western countries, besides journalists. Many of the participants were seen discussing the grisly terrorist attack at Peshawar's Army Public School where over 135 children were martyred in a gun and suicide attack on Tuesday.
