Peshawar school attack biggest national tragedy: Ebad

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan has described the Peshawar school terror attack as the biggest national tragedy of the country's history.

In a statement, the Governor expressed his extreme grief over the martyrdom of over 100 students and teachers in the terror incident.

He strongly condemned the incident and said today the whole nation is in shock and mourning on the death of children, and stands by the affected families. The Governor said the terrorists cannot be called human being.

Dr. Ishratul Ebad said that such acts of terrorism cannot affect the morale of the nation, as nefarious designs of the remnants of the defeated terrorists have been exposed by this cowardly act. They are enemies of humanity, and are the enemies not only of Pakistan but also of Islam.

The governor expressed his condolences with the bereaved families of the martyred students and other victims, and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
