CM expresses grief over deaths due to stopping ambulances by PTI workers

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives due to stopping of ambulances during violent protests of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI).

Sympathizing with the bereaved families, the chief minister said he was deeply grieved over the death of citizens due to merciless politics of the PTI. He said he and the Punjab government fully shared the grief of the bereaved families.

Shahbaz Sharif said parents of the children beseeched the PTI workers to let the ambulances pass but they paid no heed.

The chief minister prayed that may Allah, The Almighty, rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
