Govt to overcome energy crises during next four years: Amir Muqam

KARAK: Advisor to Prime Minister Engr. Amir Muqam has said the present democratically elected government would overcome all challenges it facing today including energy crises before the expiry of its mandated period.

Talking to reporters here, he said, the government was determined to abolish the menace of load shedding from the country during next four years as it had started work on scores of energy projects after assuming the power.

The government, he said was earnestly desiring to repatriate the displaced people to their native areas in Waziristan and has directed the concerned quarters for reconstruction of the damaged infrastructure in the affected areas of the NWA.

The PMLN leader said, the local people have basic rights over the gas produced in their native districts and as such the people of Karak have the rights over the natural gas produced in their district first while other comes later.

The PTI's sit ins, road blockades and protests are causing Rs.200 million loss a day to the people besides inflicting huge damages to the national economy, he said adding, Imran Khan was damaging the country's interest for the fulfillment of his personal ego.

The provision of free education, health services as pledged by the PTI's in is elections manifesto proved mere hollow slogans in the province where has been mandated by the people for the change. It's an insult of the mandate of the Pukthoon, he explained.

Imran Khan always dreamt in night to become Prime Minister while in the day he used different tactics for what he dreamt in the night. Nobody can become PM by dreaming for it one has to practically work day and night.

Imran Khan, he said should approach the courts for resolution of his problems instead of coming on roads adding the government would accept the decisions of the court. The people of KP have rejected the politics of agitations. He said the government would further slash the prices of petroleum products by the end of current month.

Amir Muqam said that the government added 4000 megawatt to the national grid since coming to power in the 2013.
