ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Monday disposed of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) appointment case after appointment of Justice (retd) Sarad Raza Khan as new CEC.

The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Nasirul Mulk declared that no more proceedings were required in the case as the CEC's appointment had been made.
