No one to be allowed to close business forcibly: CM

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said law is equal to all and no one will be allowed to close the business forcibly.

He said this while presiding over a meeting held to review the over all situation in the province on Saturday.

Addressing the meeting, he said protection of life and property of citizens was a top priority of the government and all possible measures would be taken for maintaining peaceful atmosphere in the province.

Shahbaz Sharif warned that those taking law into their hands would be dealt as per law and no one would be allowed to close the business forcibly. He said all necessary steps would be taken for providing security to traders community.

The chief minister directed to take all possible steps for providing protection to the traders community and indiscriminate action should be taken against those closing the business forcibly as per law.

Minister of State for Water & Power Abid Sher Ali, MNA Hamza Shahbaz and concerned officials attended the meeting.
