Inamullah Khan, an independent candidate, had defeated his rival independent candidates as well as a candidate from Pakistan Awami Tehreek for whom Tahirul Qadri had massively campaigned.
He has been declared a returned candidate in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (3A) and sub-section (4) of section 42 of the Representation of the People Act 1976 read with section 108.
