USAID, CADD to collaborate on Pakistan Reading Project

ISLAMABAD: United States Agency for International Development would collaborate with Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) on `Pakistan Reading Project'.

According to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the both organizations recently, both parties would work together in the implementation of the Pakistan Reading Project to support and strengthen quality of education in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

The Pakistan Reading Project would undertake activities to improve classroom learning with an explicit focus on reading, improve management in public education systems and low-cost private schools and re-establish `National culture of reading'.

CADD or any of its successor entities would ensure that its organization facilitate the work on Pakistan Reading Project at all levels in ICT through cooperation in data collection, staff development and institutional development activities, the MoU said.
