Saad urges PTI to avoid using derogatory language, politics of agitation

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), should avoid politics of agitation and use of derogatory language against political personalities.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that some foreign elements are supporting Imran Khan for creating unrest in the country.

He added these elements do not want development and agreements with China. He said that the powers are helping Imran Khan to destabilize Pakistan.

Saad Rafique said that PTI chief was spending a huge amount on public meetings. Minister said that Imran Khan was levelling false charges about previous elections without producing solid evidence.

Khawaja Saad Rafique said that PTI chief should approach courts for justice. He said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), had held the affairs of the government after majority votes of the people in 2013 elections.

He added that PTI had accepted the victory of the PML-N for running the government. Federal Minister said that Imran Khan is making hue and cry over previous elections after a lapse of more than a year. He said that PTI chief should avoid using undemocratic language against judges and parliamentarians.

Replying to a question he said that the government had written a letter to the judicial commission for probing electoral process.

He said that Imran Khan is creating fuss in the red zone area through public meetings, protest demonstrations and sit-ins.

To another question, Minister said that Imran Khan cannot dictate the apex courts, adding that PTI chief should avoid humiliating the judges and other personalities over the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner.
