PESHAWAR: Senior Vice President, PML-N and Advisor to Prime Minister, Engineer Amir Muqaam has said that PTI is insulting the mandate of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and slaughtering it for getting electoral victory in Punjab.

Talking to newsmen at the residence of district president, PML-N Sarzamin Khan, he asked the PTI chief for abandoning double standard and appear before the Speaker, National Assembly to resign in real terms to hold by-elections on the constituencies vacant by them or returned to the assemblies after tendering apology to the nation and parliament to play their democratic role.

The PML-N stalwart said that neither tendering resignation nor attending the proceedings of the assemblies is very big crime and a joke with the mandate of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is mentioned by Imran Khan in his address to the sit-ins is only an idea, which has no relations with the facts.

He said that they respect the mandate of the people of the province and the completion of the constitutional period by the assemblies is heartiest wish to serve the masses.

Engineer Amir Muqaam said that as far as the matter of the rights of the province is concerned they are standing by their province.

He said that people of the province are first and then comes the party and government. He said that the PTI leaderships have no time to wage struggle for the rights of the province.
