New Zealand reach 160-2 at tea in second Test

DUBAI: New Zealand were 160-2 at tea on the opening day of the second Test against Pakistan on Monday.

Tom Latham (84) and Ross Taylor (one) were at the crease after New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat.

Brendon McCullum was dismissed for 43 and Kane Williamson made 32.

New Zealand kept an unchanged side despite their 248-run defeat in the first Test in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan, leading the three-Test series 1-0, were forced to make three changes with Mohammad Hafeez (hamstring), Ahmed Shehzad (skull fracture) and Imran Khan (rested) replaced by Shan Masood, Taufeeq Umar and Adil.
