Indian troops martyr nine Kashmiris in October

ISLAMABAD: Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred nine Kashmiris including a woman during the last month of October.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of KMS, on Saturday, these killings rendered two women widowed and six children orphaned.

During the period, 61 Kashmiris were critically injured when Indian police and paramilitary personnel used brute force against peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territory. The troops and police personnel arrested 115 people, mostly Hurriyet leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Zafar Akbar Butt, Nayeem Ahmad Khan,Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash.

The troops also destroyed a residential house during the month.
