According to press release issued here Friday, on the directions of CPO Sultan Ahmad Chaudhary, the police have established temporary pickets at 10 important places and roads of the city due to security reasons during Muharram.
The checking of each vehicle was being ensured at the police pickets while the pickets were working round the clock in three shifts.
Temporary pickets were established at Sher Shah, Basti Malook, Vehari road near stadium, Rangoo pull, Syedan wala by-pass, canal bridge Seetal Mari Budhla road, Sikandri nala Suraj Miani road, Bholi mai grave Jalalpur road Shujabad, Bahadarpur chowk Jalalpur and Fayaz chowk Kayanpur.
