The ECP has notified Amir Dogar as returned candidate in pursuance of provisions of sub-section (3A) and sub-section (4) of section 42 of the Representation of the People Act 1976 read with section 108.
Amir Dogar had secured the national assembly seat from NA-149 in by-elections held on October 16 as an independent candidate by defeating veteran politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi.
