ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain, on the advice of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday approved the appointment of Sohail Nasir, District and Sessions Judge as a Judge, Accountability Court-III, Rawalpindi.

The appointment of Mr Sohail Nasir has been approved on deputation basis in his own pay and scale for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier from the date he assumes charge of the post, a press release issued by the President's Media Office here said.

Meanwhile, the President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, has accepted resignations of Shamsh Kassim Lakha and Dr Ishrat Hussain as Members, BISP (Benazir Income Support Programme) Board and appointed following on the BISP Board for a period of three years:-

1. Dr. Zeba A. Sathar As non-Government Member

2. Dr. Sania Nishtar As non-Government Member

3. Secretary/Additional Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

As Government Member

4. Secretary/Additional Secretary, Cabinet Division

As Government Member
