Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah passed the orders on a petition filed by Zonex Pharama and Alec Labs.
Earlier, the petitioner's counsel arguing before the court submitted that no rules had been framed for inspection of homeo-pathic medicines under the Drug Regulatory Authority Act 2012 and neither any lab was established for checking homeo-pathic medicines. However, drug Inspectors had started a drive against homeo-pathic factories and petitioner- organizations were also sealed despite lack of rules, he added. He contended that the step was illegal and against rules.
However, the court adjourning the matter till October 21 directed a law officer to seek instruction from Drug Regulatory Authority and also summoned a responsible officer.
