Colonel Sikandar Hayat was chief guest on this occasion while the function was also attended by Major Jawad Mubarak and students of Institute for Blinds.
A blind student Arif Ullah enthralled the audience with Pashto parody songs while segment of comedy show was also largely lauded by the participants.
Colonel Skindar Hayat while addressing the occasion said blind people have no lack of abilities however unfortunately most people do not give them a status they deserved. He said it was also the responsibility of government to provide blind people with special quality education and arrange extracurricular activities for them.
He said blind people must also be given honorable jobs in government institutions. Pakistan Army, he said was doing its best to provide conducive and honorable atmosphere to blind people at all forums and this practice would remain continue.
