PM wins heart of flood affected people: Riaz Hussain Pirzada

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination, Riaz Hussain Pirzada said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif won the heart of flood affected people by delivering his speech in Uch Sharif.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that protestors spend huge amounts for holding sit-ins, adding that they should have given this amount to flood affected people and IDPs (Internally displaced Persons).

He said leaders of the protesting parties tried to provoke young people against the country by giving controversial statements.

Responding to a question, the Minister rejected allegation of rigging in elections and said that Election Commission of Pakistan and international observers declared these elections as free, fair and transparent.

Pakistan Muslim League (N) MPA, Malik Khalid Mahmood Waran also thanked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for visiting Uch Sharif to oversee relief activities which are being carried out for flood affected people.

He said the nation is appreciating comprehensive policies of the government for flood affected areas.

Responding to a question, Malik said the people know real designs of protestors and consider politics of sit-ins against economic interests of the country.

The PML-N leader said the people gave mandate to the government to govern the country for five years.

He said the federal and provincial governments made hectic efforts to address miseries of flood affected people, adding that such efforts will continue with full enthusiasm till their rehabilitation.

He hoped that the country will steer out of all crisis and problems very soon.
