Zeba Bakhtiar boycotts three cinema houses, accuses not to show her film during Eid day

KARACHI: Pakistani film and television actress Zeba Bakhtiar has announced boycott of three cinema houses.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Monday, she claimed that screening of their film released on the Eid day was closed after just 25 minutes in three major cinemas including Capri and Bambino cinemas in Karachi and Multan’s Dreamland cinema. She further said that they were facing financial problem due to this.

‘Operation 021’ has been produced by Zeba Bakhtiar and her son Azaan Sami Khan, in collaboration with Australian director Summer Nicks.

On the occasion, the son of Zeba Bakhtiar, Azan said that he declined opportunities to work abroad but he was proud to be a Pakistani, adding all our energies are only for Pakistan.

He appealed to all associations of film industry to unite against those damaging the Pakistani film industry.

Other film industry people also addressed the press conference included Muhammad Rizwan film director, and Jami film producer.

Film actor and hero Shaan talked online and condemned the behavior of cinema house owners.
