CJ detaches himself from electoral reforms case

ISLAMABAD: The Chief justice Nasirul Mulk on Monday detached himself from the case regarding electoral reforms and thumb verification in the four constituencies.

Before initiating the case proceedings the CJ said that as he was interim Chief Election Commissioner at that time the court had asked him for response regarding General Elections of 2013 so he should not be a part of this proceeding.

It is to mention that after detachment of the CJ from the case the bench was dissolved and now new formulation of the bench will hear the case after November 10.
