Asfandyar Wali condemns Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: Central President Awami National Party, Asfandyar Wali Khan here Tuesday strongly condemned the car bomb blast in Peshawar and expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.

In a press statement issued here, he said those who are sabotaging the peace could not become the well wishers of the country.

He termed attack on security officials as cowardice act and said such inhuman incidents can't deter the determination of people and security officials. He demanded of the government to immediately arrest the culprits involved in this gory incident and award them exemplary punishment. Asfandyar Wali said those who create restiveness in the country, are in fact enemy of the country and such elements have no ideology and religion.

He alleged that the rulers of Khyber Pakthunkhwa have left people on the mercy of terrorists by staging sit-in Islamabad that was a matter of great concern.

He prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to members of the bereaved families to bear this loss with patience.
