UNDP Country Director calls on Governor

PESHAWAR: The UNDP Country Director in Pakistan, Marc-Andre Frache Friday called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan here at Governor's House.

Marc-Andre Frache was also accompanied by Program Manager Laura Sheridan, and Provincial Head of the Organization Edward Rees. He remained with the Governor for some time and apprised him about the services which this UN body is extending in the province as well as in FATA.

The Governor, while appreciating the role and services of the world community towards ensuring socio-economic well being of the people also assured to extend every possible support to UNDP in continuing its humanitarian services smoothly in future too.

He also highlighted the steps underway to take care of the displaced persons from North Waziristan and also mentioned the future needs in this respect as well.
