WFP launches 4th round of food distribution among IDPs

ISLAMABAD: The World Food Programme (WFP) launched the 4th round of food distribution among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.

A spokesman of WFP said that fifty four thousand IDPs families are being provided food items every month, Radio Pkaistan reported.

Each IDP family receives ration including eighty kilograms flour, eight kilogram pulses, over two kilogram biscuits and four liters edible oil.

The spokesman said WFP has opened centers in Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan for distribution among the IDPs.
