Haji Adeel urges federal government to take measures to protect minorities in KPK

ISLAMABAD: Senator Haji Adeel of Awami National Party (ANP) Monday criticized the failure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for protecting Sikh community and urged the federal government to take measures for their protection.

Speaking in Joint Sitting of Parliament, he said five members of the community have so far been killed in the province including two each in Peshawar, Charsadda and one in Mardan but the Chief Minister was busy in attending Late Night Shows in D-Chowk in the federal capital.

He urged the Prime Minister to take notice of the situation and provide protection to the minority community.

He also criticized the Inspector General of KPK for his failure to protect the minority community.
