ISLAMABAD: The proceedings of treason case under Article 6 of the Constitution against former President Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf was once again adjourned without hearing on Tuesday due to current prevailing situation in the federal capital.

The sit-ins of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PAT) at the Red Zone area of the federal capital caused the hearings to be adjourned without any proceedings.

Registrar, Special Court, Abdul Nabi Somroo informed that due to current political and law and order situation, hearing of the case was adjourned. The case was heard in the Federal Shariat Court building today.

The court adjourned the hearing till September 9. On August 25, Farough Nasim Counsel for Pervez Musharraf had pleaded to the court to give a new date for the hearing as it will be impossible for them to reach the court due to the sit-ins of PAT and PTI in Islamabad.
