First Hajj flight leaves for Jeddah from BBIA

ISLAMABAD: A special Hajj flight SV- 727 with 400 intending pilgrims on board left Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) here on Sunday.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf seen off the intending pilgrims.

Senior officials of the Ministry, Saudi embassy, Pakistan International Airlines and Civil Aviation Authority were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the pilgrims, the Minister said the government has tried its best to provide facilities to the intending Hujjaj including residence, transport and health.

The minister urged the intending pilgrims to follow the rules of Saudi Arabia during their stay in the holy land.

He also lauded the efforts of Management of Civil Aviation Authority for finalising the pre-departure arrangements of intending pilgrims.

Federal Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs Sikandar Ismail and Saudi Ambassador also addressed the event.
