Sit-ins caused huge loss to economy: Raja Ashfaq

RAWALPINDI: Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that those hatching conspiracy against the constitution and the democracy will not be allowed to succeed.

He said the demand of resignation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is unconstitutional and they will not resign at any cost.

The patriotic forces are united for the protection of the parliament and the constitution, he said adding the sit-ins of Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri have caused huge loss to the national economy.

Raja Ashfaq Sarwar in a statement issued here on Tuesday said that Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri have indulged in the politics of blackmailing by making shield of women and children.

He said all political parties of the country have made it clear that no one will be allowed to derail democratic system.

The government will accept only constitutional demands of Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri. He further said that people have given mandate to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif are the real and popular leaders of PML-N and the people of the country, he added.
